Today I went to the Gary Panter exibition at galerie Martel. I never talk on my blog about artists that are inspired me and now I just feel like I should do sometimes .
I remember buying a fac simile of a sketch book by Gary Panter; I was in a comics book store in Chicago. most of the drawing in this book are traveling sketches, city, people, dinner...
I didn’t realise when I bought it that I will watch it and watch it . And that’s, I think the Strength of Gary Panter Art; I mean There’s always something to see.
I admire his capability to let us see the world through his eyes. A world recreate by sample of popular(i don’t really like this word but can’t find an other) culture. There’s something very generous and human behind those collage of fancy colors, robot, cartoon and girl.

I love you(i guess) est une serie d’histoires courtes. j’aimerai que ces histoires, qui fonctionnent individuellement, puissent raisonner les unes avec les autres, qu’elles prennent de la profondeur au fur et à mesure de l’écriture pour former un récit. A travers plusieurs personnages: Joseph, un jeune papa, lonely pauli, un cartoon à la recherche d’un amourperdu, et d’autres personnages, j’aimerai parler du passage à l'âge adulte, de l’enfance à la paternité, de ce que ce passage induit comme réflexions et souvenirs: Des premiers amours du lycée, à la vie de Papa, en passant par les nuits le long des rails. Ce récit se construit un peu comme une auto-fiction dans laquelle je mets en scène certaines scènes de ma propre vie, dans une forme puisant ses sources, dans certains comics strips américains : Crazy cat, les Peanuts, et Walt et Squezzix, le comics strip de Frank King.

ça fait un moment que j'ai rien posté. Pour les nouvelles, mon film "Fancy Coffee" est terminé, il y aura quelques projections. Je vous en tiendrez informé. Je voudrai remercier tous ceux qui ont participé de près ou de loin à ce film.

playlist#1 hommage à Syreeta Wright

"Playlist" est une nouvelle rubrique sur mon blog dans laquelle j'ai envie de parler de mes disques,

Je commence donc cette nouvelle expérience avec Syreeta, une chanteuse un peu trop méconnue en comparaison à son immense talent. Sa voix douce et sucrée fait penser à Denice williams ou Minnie Ripperton avec un peu de cannelle avec!Elle a également composé, notamment avec Steevie Wonder, plusieurs Albums dont le magnifique "Syreeta". J'ai découvert sa voix sur l'album "Music is my sanctuary" de Gary Bartz, dans cette chanson "Oo baby baby" où, elle chante quelques secondes, et j'ai été profondément ému. En plus elle est très belle avec ses grandes dents qui partent un peu en arrière.

I love my home sweet home. Every morning I woke up and make my fancy coffee. Cette nuit j'ai rêvé que j'était dans un taxi, je parlai au chauffeur, je lui disait que j'essayai de faire un film. Il faisait lui aussi du cinéma, il s'appelait Jim Jarmush. J'étais très impressionné. Il était vraiment cool et simple et ce matin en me levant Il me donne beaucoup d'énergie...Merci Jim
